[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it will hold an 'Eco-friendly Chili Farming Field Consulting' by inviting experts from the Rural Development Administration at the Agricultural Technology Center on the 28th.
This consulting is part of the 'Crop-specific Farming Field Consulting' hosted by the Rural Development Administration to resolve problems and difficulties occurring in the field.
The main contents include four areas related to eco-friendly chili cultivation: crop cultivation, soil and fertilizer, pests and diseases, and organic agricultural materials. It will be conducted through in-depth education by each technical expert, Q&A and discussions among participants, and on-site diagnosis.
Recently, eco-friendly chili farmers have been facing various difficulties such as continuous cropping obstacles, pest and disease control, and inquiries and use of organic agricultural materials.
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center said, "Through this field consulting, we plan to listen to the problems raised by farmers and seek improvement measures to foster eco-friendly chili specialist farmers who produce high-quality and safe agricultural products."
