Yun Byeong-tae Naju Mayor Transition Committee, Recruiting Attendees for Inauguration Ceremony


[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] The Transition Committee for Mayor Yoon Byung-tae of Naju City in the 8th term of direct election (Chairman Yeoseonggu) announced on the 22nd that they are accepting online applications from citizens who wish to attend the ‘Inauguration Ceremony of Mayor Yoon Byung-tae of Naju City in the 8th term of direct election’ until the 25th.


The inauguration ceremony will be held on the 1st of next month from 10 a.m. at the multipurpose gymnasium of Naju Sports Park, and will last about 50 minutes, including a hope video screening, oath-taking and inaugural address, congratulatory speeches, vision proclamation, and celebratory performances.


This inauguration ceremony will be attended by about 1,000 people, including citizens and hometown friends, former and current politicians, institutions, social and media organizations, to celebrate and unite for the first voyage of Mayor Yoon Byung-tae’s 8th term administration toward ‘Naju, a global small but strong city with a population of 200,000.’


Citizens who wish to participate in the event (including local workers) can apply online on the Naju Mayor Transition Committee website, and the number of participants will be limited to 200.


Yeoseonggu, Chairman of the Naju Mayor Transition Committee, said, “With the expectations of 120,000 citizens, this inauguration ceremony will be a blueprint for ‘Greater Naju, Naju Transition,’ prioritizing communication and harmony after passing through the long tunnel of COVID-19.”


He added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many citizens in this meaningful occasion marking the first step of the 8th term administration.”
