Applications accepted until July 4, Training from July 18 to August 12
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, is recruiting trainees for this year's herbal medicine cultivation specialized technical training until July 4.
The training will be conducted for four weeks from July 18 to August 12. The number of recruits is 20 per course, totaling 40, and the training fee is completely free.
The training location is the 2nd floor agricultural education hall of the Future Life Hall at the Sancheong-gun Agricultural Technology Center, and a certificate of completion will be issued to trainees who complete the course (with an attendance rate of 70% or higher).
The training is divided into a general course for prospective returnees to farming and rural areas and those wishing to newly cultivate herbal medicine, and an advanced course for those who have completed specialized herbal medicine cultivation training and herbal medicine farming households.
The general course includes promising crop recommendations, eco-friendly certification, and basic theories of soil and fertilizer, while the advanced course covers successful cases of herbal medicine export, e-commerce success stories, practical work in food manufacturing, as well as tax accounting, item-specific education (such as Doraji and Jak-yak), and appropriate harvesting times for herbal medicine.
Applications can be submitted by submitting the application form and required documents to the reception desk (industrial economy department of the local eup/myeon office) or by email or mail.
A county official said, "We are preparing to ensure that the training proceeds without any setbacks to strengthen the competitiveness of the herbal medicine industry, which is the foundation of our county's oriental anti-aging industry," and added, "We will strive to provide a systematic and professional customized program centered on demand to nurture herbal medicine specialists and increase the income of herbal medicine farming households."
