Samsung Heavy Industries Scores Big LNG Ship Order Worth 3.8 Trillion KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 22nd that it has signed a supply contract for 12 LNG carriers worth 3.331 trillion KRW. The order was received from a shipowner in the Bermuda region, and the contract size amounts to 50.3% of recent sales. The contract end date is July 16, 2026.

Samsung Heavy Industries also announced that it has signed a supply contract for 2 LNG carriers worth 554.3 billion KRW from a shipowner in the Africa region. The order amount corresponds to 8.4% of recent sales. The contract end date is December 3, 2024.
