CJ Olive Young to Revamp Membership Program in Second Half of Year... "Differentiating Benefits for Premium Members" Olive Young is holding the 'Olive Color Up Challenge' event until the 30th of this month.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] CJ Olive Young announced on the 22nd that it will partially revamp its own membership system, ‘Olive,’ starting in the second half of this year and differentiate benefits for premium members.


In this revamp, a new membership tier called Pink Olive will be introduced, expanding the existing four membership tiers to five. The plan is to establish a new tier to secure highly loyal premium members and further enhance accessibility to benefits.


Pink Olive is a subdivision of the existing Baby Olive tier and will be granted to customers who have purchased between 100,000 KRW and less than 400,000 KRW over six months. This will operate with five tiers: Gold (1,000,000 KRW or more), Black (700,000 KRW or more but less than 1,000,000 KRW), Green (400,000 KRW or more but less than 700,000 KRW), Pink Olive (100,000 KRW or more but less than 400,000 KRW), and Baby Olive (less than 100,000 KRW). The new tiers will be applied starting from the 5th of next month, and benefits can be enjoyed until the end of December.


Olive Young is also running the ‘Olive Color-Up Challenge’ event until the 30th of this month. Customers who watch the video introducing the new membership on the official online mall event page and participate in the tier name guessing quiz will receive various benefits, ranging from Olive Young gift cards worth up to 10,000 KRW to CJ ONE points.


An Olive Young official stated, “We place the highest value on innovating customer experience and plan to further strengthen differentiated benefits that only membership members can enjoy.”
