High Expectations for Regional Development and Growth Potential Following Jikjugunjeop and Hosu Park Seongseong District
With the planned establishment of Buseong Station on Line 1, the Buseong District near Buseong Station is gaining attention as a new residential area in Cheonan. On the 22nd, Hanla Co., Ltd. announced that it will supply a luxury brand apartment, ‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi,’ in the Buseong District of Cheonan, Chungnam, in July.
‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi’ consists of 9 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 25 floors, with a total of 654 units: ▲311 units of 84㎡ Type A ▲185 units of 84㎡ Type B ▲158 units of 84㎡ Type C.
All units are composed of the preferred exclusive area of 84㎡, arranged mainly facing southwest with a complex structure emphasizing the advantages of both slab-type and tower-type layouts. According to Hanla, the 4Bay design offers excellent lighting and ventilation, along with exterior design elements and secured views. The innovative floor plan maximizes space utilization. The complex is designed as a safe, car-free area on the ground level and boasts a generous parking ratio of 1.32:1. High-end community facilities such as a Hello Lounge and Guest House will also be included.
‘Proximity to work’ has long been a key factor in purchasing new apartments. Especially with the growing emphasis on ‘work-life balance,’ proximity to the workplace has become an indispensable keyword for apartment popularity. The closer to work, the shorter the commute time, making it easier to achieve work-life balance.
Currently, Cheonan hosts 14 industrial complexes, including major company sites such as Samsung SDI and LG Household & Health Care, 2 national industrial complexes, 8 general industrial complexes, and 4 agricultural and industrial complexes. The greatest strength of ‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi’ is its transportation environment. The expansion project of National Road No. 1 between Jiksan and Buseong was completed last year, and the Jiksan Intersection grade separation project is also underway. The Northwest-Seonggeo national road bypass is scheduled to open in March 2024. Furthermore, the establishment of Buseong Station on the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1 was recently confirmed. The double-tracking project of the KTX line between Pyeongtaek and Osong is expected to be completed in 2027, and the Gongju-Cheonan private highway project is scheduled to open in 2026.
Currently, the proximity to Line 1 Dujeong Station, Gyeongbu Expressway Cheonan IC, KTX Cheonan-Asan Station, and SRT Osong Station provides excellent access to Seoul and the metropolitan area through a wide-area transportation network, as well as good connectivity to major cities such as Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan.
Regarding residential preferences by region in Cheonan, large-scale housing developments in Buldang, Tangjeong, and Baebang areas are the most preferred residential zones, followed by the Seobuk-gu area where major core sites such as Seongseong District are located. The southeastern area, where housing aging is severe, has the lowest residential preference.
‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi’ is located in the Buseong District of Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, a rapidly emerging northern development hub. With the confirmed establishment of Buseong Station on Line 1 and proximity to Cheonan IC, it offers easy access to Seoul and the metropolitan area, as well as good wide-area transportation networks via Cheonan-Asan Station.
A Hanla sales official stated, “‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi’ has the confirmed establishment of Buseong Station on Line 1 and is surrounded by various themed facilities such as Seongseong Lake Park, Budae Elementary School, Buseong Middle School, and Sindang High School, making it an excellent school district apartment. In addition, it embraces the Cheonan industrial complexes including Samsung SDI, providing ample demand and various specialized floor plans, and is expected to become a new landmark apartment in Cheonan.”
‘Cheonan Buseong District Hanla Vivaldi’ is scheduled to open its model house in July.
