16 Fire Trucks Deployed to Ihwa and Hwajeong Villages Where Fire Truck Access Is Impossible
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan Northern Fire Station has deployed ‘special firefighters’ to areas where fire trucks have difficulty accessing, such as Ihwa Village and Hwajeong Village in Buk-gu.
The Northern Fire Station announced on the 17th that it installed 16 ‘visible fire extinguishers’ in these areas to prevent residential fires.
‘Visible fire extinguishers’ refer to extinguishers installed in easily noticeable places such as walls in fire-prone areas like densely populated residential districts or places where fire truck access is impossible or difficult, so that anyone can use them in case of emergency.
Park Yong-rae, chief of the Northern Fire Station, said, “Ihwa Village and Hwajeong Village are areas where fire trucks have difficulty entering, so early firefighting is very important,” and added, “Please check the locations of visible fire extinguishers regularly and actively use them in case of fire to minimize damage.”
