This field trip education was organized to encourage early settlement in Hapcheon-gun and to explore stable plans for returning to farming by allowing the students of the Agricultural Startup Complex to tour advanced farming facilities.

Agriculture is greatly influenced by factors such as the cultivation area and climate depending on the crop, the farmer's cultivation methods, and product assortment, which affect the yield and income.

During this tour, the students left Hapcheon-gun to visit apple mango and blueberry farms in Tongyeong City to compare crops and fruit harvest volumes according to natural environments, and visited a mushroom cultivation farm in Uiryeong County to learn about cases that succeeded in developing home-use mushroom cultivation kits beyond simple mushroom farming and sales, thereby generating high income, enhancing the educational effect.

An Sun-ja, the head of the autonomous association, said, “Through various programs operated at the Agricultural Startup Complex in Hapcheon-gun, I feel closer to Hapcheon-gun, and it has been an opportunity to think more deeply about crop selection and future settlement directions through various farming techniques,” expressing her gratitude.

Jung Soon-jae, Director of Agricultural Policy in Hapcheon-gun, said, “We will actively promote various programs and education that meet the needs of urban residents wishing to return to farming in Hapcheon-gun for their stable settlement.”
