Kibo, Doosan Mobility Innovation and Hanguk Jingong Yageum Collaborate for Mutual Technology Advancement

Leading Win-Win Cooperation Between Large and Small-Medium Enterprises Through the '2Win-Bridge' System

Kibo, Doosan Mobility Innovation and Hanguk Jingong Yageum Collaborate for Mutual Technology Advancement

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter Kibo) announced on the 13th that it signed a 'Large and Small-Medium Enterprise Win-Win Technology Cooperation Agreement' with Doosan Mobility Innovation (CEO Lee Doo-soon) and Korea Vacuum Metallurgy (CEO Moon Seung-ho), and held a policy seminar to promote open innovation.

This technology cooperation is the first case where large enterprises and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) achieved technology cooperation through the inter-company technology transaction and cooperation system '2Win-Bridge' operated by Kibo. Kibo matched SMEs with excellent technologies to the technology demands of large enterprises and led win-win cooperation between large and small-medium enterprises through mediation of technology transactions, joint research and development (R&D), and strategic alliances.

Kibo explained that its database (DB) of over 100,000 SMEs and nationwide branch network played a significant role in more precisely matching the technology demands of large enterprises. Through customized keyword searches in its own SME DB, Kibo identified SMEs possessing technologies similar to the demands of large enterprises and comprehensively understood the technical characteristics and additional R&D capabilities of those SMEs through its branches.

Director Park Joo-sun of Kibo said, "This agreement is significant in that it left a model case of collaboration through technology transactions between large and small-medium enterprises," adding, "Going forward, Kibo will continue to contribute to fostering a fair technology transaction culture among companies and do its best to promote ESG management expansion in SMEs and win-win cooperation between large and small-medium enterprises."
