Double Boomerang, Speed Racing and More Renovations
Early Bird Tickets Sold in Live Broadcast Ahead of Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Daemyung Sono Group's Sono International announced on the 11th that the water park (Ocean Adventure) at Sono Belle Cheonan will reopen on the 18th after renovating its attractions.
Sono Belle Cheonan Ocean Adventure is the largest water park in the central region, featuring indoor zones, outdoor zones, and outdoor hot springs. It operates a total of 15 different attractions. Located in Cheonan, it attracts family customers from the Chungcheong area as well as the metropolitan and southern regions who want to enjoy water activities during the summer.
Sono International will introduce three new attractions to coincide with this year's opening. The "Double Boomerang" is a twisted-shaped attraction combining two slides, designed for four people. Riders go through a dark tunnel and drop into the water. It is designed to be 16 meters high and 86 meters long. "Speed Racing" and "Body Ball Slide" are also prepared. Speed Racing is a long slide where riders lie face down and slide down about 100 meters from a height of 12 meters, creating a refreshing splash. It also offers a thrilling sense of speed.
Additionally, the outdoor zone of Ocean Adventure features the "Tornado Pool," where visitors can play with waves, and the "Wild Extreme River," a 370-meter-long ride where riders float on waves inside tubes. The indoor zone is equipped with attractions such as "Treasure Island," "Beach Pool," "Wave Slide," and "Black Hole Slide."
Meanwhile, Sono Belle Cheonan will sell early bird admission tickets through Naver Shopping Live on the 17th, one day before the opening of Ocean Adventure. Detailed information about promotions for local residents, facility usage, and live broadcast can be found on the Sono Hotels & Resorts or Sono Belle Cheonan websites.
