JVM Selected as 'K-Smart Lighthouse Factory' by Ministry of SMEs and Startups

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] JV M, a subsidiary of Hanmi Science, announced on the 9th that it has been selected as a recipient of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'K-Smart Lighthouse Factory' government subsidy project.

'K-Smart Lighthouse Factory' is a leading smart factory initiative selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, benchmarking the 'Global Lighthouse Factory' program by the World Economic Forum (WEF), which identifies large-scale factories that innovatively lead the future of global manufacturing, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies.

Selected companies will receive support from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to build smart factories capable of real-time remote control by applying artificial intelligence, big data, digital twin technology, and more. Upon completion, these factories will serve as 'benchmark model factories' that indicate the direction for the advancement of domestic manufacturing and lead their respective industries.

Through this project, JV M plans to establish ▲ a cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) Biz platform for collecting usage information of automatic dispensing systems and AI-based analysis ▲ a predictive maintenance system for early detection of abnormalities in dispensing equipment ▲ a deep learning-based one-stop automatic design operating system ▲ a flexible production system through Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) ▲ digital twin technology and an integrated control room.

A JV M representative stated, “We will build a smart factory by actively utilizing our capabilities in continuously developing innovative new-concept automatic pharmaceutical dispensing devices and artificial intelligence algorithms. Based on this, we aim to become a leading company that sets the direction for the future of the automatic pharmaceutical dispensing device industry.”
