Premium Lunchbox Making Training
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Agricultural Technology Center of Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, is conducting a five-day rural income resource discovery training at the Hwang Garam Agricultural and Rural Vitality Center from the 8th to the 12th.
The training is themed "Making Premium Lunchboxes Using Hapcheon Agricultural Products" and consists of both theoretical and practical sessions.
Using main ingredients such as onions, potatoes, and garlic, which are mainly produced in Hapcheon, the course offers cooking processes for simple yet sophisticated lunchbox menus, beverages, and desserts that match the recent popular outing trends like tourism and camping.
The program includes four main lunchboxes such as onion rice topped with grilled chicken wings, potato and onion fries and fruit salad to accompany hamburgers, and lotus leaf rice lunchboxes with beef rolls as side dishes, as well as desserts like nut pies.
Director Shin Jae-soon said, "We expect this training to provide good ideas and opportunities not only for individuals but also for those who wish to start a business," adding, "We will continue to promote various programs and training that can enhance farm income and the added value of rural resources through the development of new regionally specialized foods that meet consumer demands."
