Mituzan Subsidiary Miverse Labs Signs Business Agreement with Studio Santa Claus

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Meverse Labs, a subsidiary of global mobile game company Mtozen, announced on the 8th that it has signed a business agreement with Studio Santa Claus and Meverse, the blockchain mainnet of the MtoOn Group, to expand its own blockchain ecosystem and foster new NFT businesses.

Through this agreement, they plan to jointly promote the expansion of the blockchain-based entertainment ecosystem by applying NFT technology to Studio Santa Claus’s affiliated artists and owned content.

Studio Santa Claus is an entertainment company focused on management. Since its establishment in 2005, it has been discovering and nurturing new talents. It produced "My Name (Netflix Original)," which recently ranked 2nd in global viewing rankings on Netflix. Actors Kim Yoon-seok, Joo Won, Soo Ae, Kim Ok-bin, Lee Da-hee, and Kim Sung-oh are among the affiliated celebrities.

Meverse aims to build a “blockchain metaverse entertainment platform” based on its proprietary blockchain mainnet technology to provide various blockchain content that users worldwide can see, feel, and empathize with. Recently, it joined the MtoOn Group, a KOSDAQ-listed company’s blockchain subsidiary, and is accelerating the expansion of its own ecosystem through blockchain-based P2E (Play to Earn) games and NFT businesses targeting the global market.

Hong Jong-ho, CEO of Meverse Labs, said, “Our goal is to create the best synergy effect by applying entertainment industry element technologies and Meverse’s own blockchain technology,” adding, “To this end, we will actively utilize Meverse Mainnet 2.0, Meverse Decentralized Exchange (MEVerse DEX), and Meverse NFT Marketplace built by Meverse.”

He continued, “We will continuously launch various blockchain services centered on entertainment targeting overseas markets,” and added, “We will solidify the position of the blockchain metaverse entertainment platform.”
