[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 7th that it has successfully completed the 'Small and Medium Enterprise Accounting Clerk Training' recently conducted for women with career interruptions.
This training was organized by the Jeonbuk Women's Education and Culture Center Foundation and the Jeonbuk Regional Women's New Employment Center (Director Jeon Jeonghee).
The 20 graduates received a total of 164 hours of theoretical and practical training in accounting and bookkeeping.
They also completed job readiness training necessary for employment and entrepreneurship, including job competency education, resume and self-introduction letter consulting, and career special lectures.
At the graduation ceremony held on the 3rd at the Gochang Women's Hall, various programs such as personal color diagnosis and finding personal strengths were conducted.
Additionally, three companies?Agricultural Corporation E&G Food Co., Ltd., Ji Gyeong Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, and Daekyung Steel Industry Co., Ltd.?attended and conducted on-site interviews, resulting in three graduates successfully securing employment.
A trainee said, "Through this accounting clerk course, I feel rewarded to have obtained a professional certificate and to be able to challenge a new occupation."
Jo Jeongho, head of the Social Welfare Division of the county, said, "We hope this will be an opportunity to encourage reemployment of women with career interruptions and strengthen individual capabilities," adding, "We will continue to serve as a foothold for employment so that women in Gochang-gun can play an active role in the local economy."
