[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] The Korean Cultural Center New York will hold an outdoor concert by Korea's representative original 'Joseon Pop' band 'Akdan Gwangchil (ADG7)' at 7:30 PM on the 15th (local time) at the Damrosch Park performance venue in Lincoln Center, New York City.
This performance is one of the official programs of Lincoln Center's new summer season event, 'Summer for the City.' Akdan Gwangchil will present 11 songs including their signature tracks 'Yeongjeong Street,' 'Eolssa,' as well as 'Hihi' and 'Noja Noja.'
The Korean Cultural Center New York stated, "We are very pleased to bring Akdan Gwangchil's performance, which is leading the new Korean Wave trend in New York with a new concept of gugak (traditional Korean music) performance, to the stage of Lincoln Center, New York's premier venue," adding, "We expect to offer a delightful summer night to New Yorkers and our compatriots who have been weary from the COVID-19 pandemic."
