"Precious Life, Let's Protect Together" Life Respect Campaign in 18 Cities, Counties, and Districts of Gyeongnam

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The social welfare corporation Inaebokji Foundation held a life respect campaign on the 31st from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The campaign was simultaneously conducted at a total of 28 locations, including 23 bustling areas in 18 cities, counties, and districts of Gyeongnam such as Gimhae, Uiryeong, Namhae, Hamyang, Sacheon, Goseong, and Yangsan, as well as 5 locations in Ulsan.

The activities included a life respect pledge, composing acrostic poems on life respect, writing words expected for this year and attaching them to a hope tree, and a life respect signature campaign.

The campaign held near Daedong Department Store in Changwon City, Gyeongnam, and in front of Palyong-dong Administrative Welfare Center was participated in by the Gyeongnam Child Committee, Changwon City Child Committee, Changwon City Child Protection Agency, and Life Culture Gyeongnam.

Counselor Jo Heetak said, “We are holding life respect campaigns tailored to the characteristics of each institution in Gyeongnam and Ulsan,” adding, “This event was conducted with the purpose of fostering interest in life and protecting precious lives.”
