The briefing session was organized to promote the early adoption and dissemination of autonomous vehicles in public institutions through innovative procurement, providing corporate support information such as pilot purchase projects for innovative prototypes to companies related to autonomous road surface cleaning vehicles and waste collection vehicles.
On the 27th, Kim Gong-jin, head of the Gwangju Procurement Service, stated, “Since Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has been designated as a pilot zone for autonomous vehicle operation, we will spare no institutional support to commercialize autonomous vehicles.”
