Signing of Agreement for Employment Stability and Regional Economic Revitalization
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] On the 27th, Wanju-gun signed an agreement with the Jeonju branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor to create local jobs and stabilize employment.
According to the agreement, both organizations will utilize employment information they possess to promote to mutual policy targets, jointly participate in various employment support events, and cooperate in training professional counselors to provide specialized one-on-one customized comprehensive job matching services.
In particular, both organizations recognized that although central government ministries and local governments are promoting various job support projects, there is insufficient promotion to many companies and job seekers, and plan to carry out active administrative activities.
Currently, Wanju-gun has contributed to creating about 1,600 jobs annually since establishing the Integrated Job Support Center in May 2020.
This year, it was selected for a Ministry of Employment and Labor public project and secured 1.8 billion won in national funds to provide one-stop employment information services to job seekers and employers.
Park Seong-il, Wanju-gun governor, stated, “Taking this business agreement as an opportunity, we will actively cooperate with the Ministry of Employment and Labor to continuously discover new job policies.”
Jeon Hyeon-cheol, head of the Jeonju branch, said, “I am pleased to sign an agreement with Wanju-gun, which is proactive in job creation and has abundant industrial infrastructure,” and added, “Both organizations will engage in various exchanges to create synergy effects.”
