The hotel industry is actively welcoming customers with reduced concerns about outdoor activities in the endemic (periodic infectious disease outbreak) era by emphasizing unique content and collaborations. Hotels are attracting guests by offering cultural content within their premises and expanding customer options by partnering with other local hotels to create packages.


According to the hotel industry on the 28th, Walkerhill Hotel & Resort opened the immersive art exhibition space 'Theater of Light' on the 27th. Theater of Light is a permanent exhibition space created by Timonet to allow visitors to experience masterpieces by great artists from a new perspective. The first exhibition at Theater of Light is 'Gustav Klimt - Gold in Motion,' highlighting representative works of the 'Golden-hued painter' Gustav Klimt. It opened on the 27th and will run until March 5 next year. Theater of Light welcomes visitors at the site of the former 'Walkerhill Theater,' which opened in 1963. Walkerhill Theater, which hosted world-class cultural and artistic events, served as a leading performance venue in Korea for over 50 years. Two accommodation packages are also launched together. The Grand Walkerhill's 'Theater of Light' package includes admission to the Theater of Light's 'Gustav Klimt' exhibition, a stay in a Grand Deluxe Room, takeout pizza, and breakfast at The Buffet. The Vista Walkerhill's 'RE:VIVE' package offers admission to the Theater of Light's 'Gustav Klimt' exhibition, a stay in a Vista Deluxe Room, and a 'Sole' lunch set at Vista Walkerhill's Italian restaurant Delvino on the day of check-in.


Grand Hyatt Incheon on Yeongjongdo Island, Incheon, is offering the suite room package 'One Suite Day' until June 30. This package is notable for being created through collaboration between Grand Hyatt Incheon, Paradise City, and the two hotels. The package includes a one-night stay in a Grand Hyatt Incheon suite room, breakfast and evening cocktails at the exclusive lounge, and admission tickets to Paradise City's Wonderbox or Cimer. For Wonderbox, three tickets are provided for two adults and one child, while for Cimer, two adult tickets are included. The Grand Hyatt Incheon suite room offers an open view through floor-to-ceiling windows and is located next to Incheon International Airport, allowing guests to enjoy a unique airport view.


Rolling Hills Hotel, operated by Haevichi Hotel & Resort in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, is offering the 'Cool Summer Night' package until August 31. This package features access to an indoor swimming pool where guests can enjoy water activities while overlooking the garden, and provides one 'Haevichi Mesh Bag' made of waterproof material, ideal for summer vacations. The package also includes takeout of the hotel's popular fried chicken and two draft beers. Additionally, it includes a one-night stay in a standard room with a terrace and breakfast buffet for two featuring fresh made-to-order dishes.


Take Hotel is selling the 'Infinity Pool & Secret Party Room Package' through the online select shop 29CM. The package consists of a stay package to spend a special day at the infinity pool and a party room package to enjoy parties with friends or partners. The Infinity Pool Package allows use of the Take Hotel's 7th-floor infinity pool and the Take2 room with a king bed. The Secret Party Room Package is designed for customers who want to enjoy parties such as birthday parties, baby showers, or bridal showers with friends. It includes use of the Take X party room and the standard room Take3 connected by a connecting door.


Sofitel Ambassador Seoul is recruiting members for the second session of its live cooking class with a French chef until June 8. Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, which is making various efforts to promote French gourmet culture in Korea, conducts French cooking classes with its female executive French chef as part of these activities. The Sofitel Seoul cooking class is characterized by selecting a region in France each session and organizing the class around menus enjoyed or originated from that region. Participants complete the course by attending three classes once a month. The theme for the second session, starting July 7, is 'Saint-Tropez,' the largest resort area in southern France, also famous as a filming location for 'Emily in Paris' Season 2. Each class teaches how to make appetizers, main dishes, and desserts such as Pistou Soup, Bouillabaisse, and Tarte Trop?zienne, representative dishes of southern France.


Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel will open its 'Poolside Barbecue' on June 3. As the hotel's signature outdoor restaurant, guests can enjoy various barbecue dishes and buffet items at the grill station. The appetizer station offers salads and grilled vegetables. At the grill station, chefs prepare various stir-fried and grilled dishes on-site. Guests can savor beef, lamb, sausages, shrimp, and other meats and seafood. The dessert station features seasonal fruits, cakes, and a variety of desserts. The barbecue runs from Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, until September 30.


Ananti Hilton Busan will open the 'Damoim Terrace' on June 1. The outdoor space 'Damoim Terrace,' facing the infinity pool in front of Damoim, will open a 'Poolside Bar' for guests using the pool. Various menus including barbecue will be offered along with draft beer. The signature menu is 'Barbecue Skewers,' consisting of charcoal-grilled meat, seafood, and vegetables, appealing to both sight and taste. Also available are 'Fried Boneless Chicken Set' and 'Charcoal Burger,' popular among children. Damoim Terrace will operate until September 12, offering only beverages and alcoholic drinks on weekdays.


Fairmont Ambassador Seoul will introduce new suite rooms on June 10. Available in two types, Premier Suite Room and Executive Suite Room, both feature a main bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom, and a living room, totaling 124㎡. Amenities from New York niche perfume brand Le Labo are provided, along with access to the Fairmont Gold Lounge.
