[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Moon Geum-ju, Vice Governor of Jeonnam Province (Acting Governor), had a busy day inspecting the early voting preparation status and COVID-19 response sites.

He checked the installation status of early voting stations, including voting operation equipment, voting booths, facilities for disabled voters, and COVID-19 quarantine management, and directly participated in a mock early voting to verify whether the entire voting process, such as ballot printing and voter movement flow, was proceeding normally.
Acting Governor Moon said, "We will thoroughly implement the legal election duties for a fair and clean election and ensure thorough quarantine management at the voting stations so that residents can vote safely. We hope voters exercise their precious suffrage with confidence."
Early voting will be conducted over two days, on the 27th and 28th, for voters who find it difficult to vote on election day, June 1st.
Voting is possible at any early voting station nationwide from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. To vote, voters must present identification such as a resident registration card, passport, or driver's license. COVID-19 confirmed or quarantined voters can vote only on the second day, the 28th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters who do not participate in early voting can vote at the polling station indicated in the notice sent to their homes on election day, June 1st. COVID-19 confirmed or quarantined voters can vote on election day from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, Vice Governor Moon visited the Jindo County Public Health Center on the same day to check the quarantine situation and encourage the efforts of COVID-19 response personnel.
After receiving a report on the COVID-19 response and quarantine status in the Jindo area, he listened to the difficulties faced on site.
This site visit was conducted to encourage the COVID-19 response personnel who are helping residents recover a healthy daily life amid increasing tourists visiting Jeonnam’s attractions following the lifting of major social distancing measures and the removal of the outdoor mask-wearing mandate.
Acting Governor Moon said, "The stable situation of COVID-19 is the result of the sacrifice and dedication of healthcare workers who have worked hard on site every day. I hope they maintain vigilance in quarantine while taking sufficient rest to respond to emergencies."
