Campaign to Continue Until the 16th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Songpa Police Station announced on the 26th that it conducted a campaign to prevent school violence and traffic accidents on the way to and from school in preparation for the full return to in-person classes.
Lee Jongwon, head of Songpa Police Station, along with 25 police officers from the Women and Youth Division and Traffic Division, 10 members of the Green Mothers' Association, and 3 elementary school principals, carried out a school arrival greeting activity in front of Munhyeon Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the same day. This campaign was organized to protect socially vulnerable groups in accordance with the full return to in-person classes.
They promoted the eradication of school violence and the three principles of safe walking using everyday promotional materials such as pencils, erasers, and sticker books targeted at elementary school students. For parents, they conducted safety driving prevention activities, including guidance on the prohibition of parking and stopping in children's protection zones.
Meanwhile, Songpa Police Station plans to continue the prevention campaign by visiting Samjeon Elementary School, Mundeok Elementary School, and Munjeong Elementary School every Thursday until the 16th of next month.
