Joint Campaign Rally of Candidate Kim Su-young for Yangcheon District Mayor and Candidates Woo Hyung-chan & Jeong Soon-hee for Seoul City Council

Candidate Kim Appeals for a Chance to Complete Yangcheon’s Development to the Reliable Current District Mayor Who Has Led Changes for 8 Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Kim Sooyoung, candidate for Yangcheon District Mayor, appealed for support at 5 p.m. on the 25th at Sinjeong Intersection, the representative downtown area of Yangcheon, in a joint campaign rally with candidates for the Democratic Party city council.

At the joint rally that day, along with candidate Kim Sooyoung, co-chairman Lee Yongseon, member of the National Assembly for Yangcheon-eul, and candidates Woo Hyungchan and Jung Soonhee, who are running for city council in Yangcheon’s 3rd and 4th electoral districts, participated together.

Co-chairman Lee Yongseon emphasized the happy changes in Yangcheon, such as the successful safety inspection for the reconstruction of Mokdong 6 Complex, which candidate Kim Sooyoung has firmly promoted, the redevelopment of Sinwol and Sinjeong New Towns, and the renovation of five major parks, urging voters to support the capable candidate Kim Sooyoung for district mayor and the Democratic Party candidates with ballot number one.

Woo Hyungchan, candidate for Seoul City Council in Yangcheon’s 3rd electoral district, who has experience as the chair of the Seoul City Council Transportation Committee, said, "I will do my utmost to create a completely transformed transportation map of Sinwoldong by completing the Sinwol subway era," while Jung Soonhee, candidate for the 4th electoral district, promised to make Sinjeong and Sinwol areas into station zones and forest zones through community-based politics.

Candidate Kim Sooyoung raised his voice, saying, "Please choose an administrative expert of Yangcheon, not a beginner, and an experienced district mayor so that the uninterrupted development of Yangcheon can be completed."
