[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is offering seven parcels of office land in the Jigeum district of Dasan New Town, Namyangju, through a competitive bidding process.
The land being supplied this time is located in Dasan-dong, Dasan New Town, near administrative complexes such as the courthouse and prosecutor's office, Namyangju City Hall Second Office, Namyangju Southern Police Station, and Guri-Namyangju Office of Education, as well as large-scale apartment complexes.
There are no special restrictions on bidding qualifications, which are open to general end-users.
The expected supply price ranges from approximately KRW 12.3 million to KRW 25.4 million per 3.3㎡, based on the appraised value of each parcel, and the highest bidder will be selected through the competitive bidding process.
Dasan New Town covers a total area of 4.75 million㎡ and is designed to accommodate about 82,000 residents. It is in the final stages of development, with the first apartment move-ins beginning in December 2017 and a total of approximately 32,000 households expected to be settled by 2023.
Bidding applications can only be submitted online through the GH Land Sales System starting June 8. The successful bidder will be announced on the same day.
The final successful bidders are scheduled to sign contracts on June 15-16. Detailed information about the supply can be found on the GH website and the Land Sales System.
