[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Comedian Mija opened up about the reason she decided to marry Kim Taehyun.
On the 24th broadcast of JTBC's 'Daughter Thieves,' actor Jang Gwang and comedian Kim Taehyun joined as the new father-in-law and son-in-law. Kim Taehyun and Mija held their wedding ceremony last April.
On that day, Mija, who visited the studio, proudly said, "It's been 42 days since I became a son-in-law," showing off their fresh newlywed status. In response, MC Kang Hodong expressed curiosity about the birth of this new celebrity family and asked how many days after meeting each other they decided to get married.
To this, Mija confessed that she was originally against marriage. She explained, "Originally, neither I nor oppa had any thoughts about marriage. We met each other openly declaring that we were both against marriage," adding, "About a month after we started dating, oppa kept saying, 'I feel a bit strange. This is the first time I've felt like this.' I was feeling the same way. Strangely, it felt like we were going to get married. It really hit us hard. I think we both felt that about a month in."
Hong Jinkyung commented, "For someone who is against marriage, you felt it too quickly," and joked, "If that's the case, don't say you're against marriage," causing the cast to burst into laughter.
Mija expressed her affection for Kim Taehyun, saying, "It wasn't so much that I thought 'I have to get married,' but more like 'I will get married.' I felt like I was going to become family with this person."
