[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) is recruiting participating companies for the 2022 ‘Large, Medium, and Small Win-Win Smart Factory Construction Support Project’ to support the innovation of small manufacturing enterprises in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions.
The ‘Smart Factory Construction Support Project’ is a program that supports the introduction of various types of smart factories to improve productivity and competitiveness in manufacturing processes.
Its purpose is to drive manufacturing innovation by integrating ICT technology into production processes, logistics, and material management.
The support target is small manufacturing enterprises located in Busan and Gyeongnam.
After evaluating each company’s necessity, willingness to improve safety areas, and whether it is a startup, 16 companies will be selected and provided with customized manufacturing innovation consulting and smart factory solution construction.
Busan Port Authority plans to support up to 20 million KRW per company in cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The application period is from the 23rd of last month until June 9. Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Sangsaeng Nuri platform.
