This environmental cleanup activity involved collecting trash and floating debris within Samji and the waterfront park, thoroughly separating recyclables, and promoting green living practices such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions through various efforts.
Chairman Ahn Hyung-wook of the council said, “Many tourists are expected to visit Samji and the waterfront park this weekend as well, and all our members have worked hard to show tourists the image of a clean Yeongyang,” adding, “We will continue to be an organization that diligently serves the development of Yeongyang County.”
