Wanju-gun Installs Restrooms Along Gui Reservoir Trail

Expectations for Improved Convenience for Dullegil Trail Visitors

[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju-gun announced on the 24th that it has installed restrooms to expand convenience facilities as the number of visitors to the Gui Reservoir Trail has increased since its opening in 2019.

The Gui Reservoir Trail is a course that takes about 3 hours to complete, and last year, Wanju-gun created one rest area for visitors to rest.

Recently, with the cooperation of nearby businesses in Gui-myeon, including Hakrae Village and Pungnyeon Chicken, an open restroom using the existing business restrooms was established.

In addition, the restrooms at the Korea Alcohol Theme Museum have been opened for public use.

In particular, as the number of trail users increased, Wanju-gun recently built a new restroom near the completion monument of Gui Reservoir.

A Wanju-gun official said, “We will do our best to create a premium trekking course linked with nearby tourist spots such as Moaksan Mountain by expanding convenience facilities in response to the increase in trail visitors.”

Meanwhile, the Gui Reservoir Trail, which is connected with Moaksan Tourist Resort and Korea Alcohol Theme Park, is composed of a waterside deck path, pine ridge trail, bamboo forest trail, and more, offering a unique walking experience enhanced by the clear lake scenery, making it a popular walking course in Wanju-gun.
