Hwasun-gun, Energy Voucher Applications Accepted from the 25th

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun announced on the 24th that it will accept applications for the Energy Voucher from the 25th until the end of this year.

The Energy Voucher program is a system that supports electricity, city gas bills, and the purchase costs of kerosene, LPG, and briquettes for energy-vulnerable groups.

Eligible recipients are those receiving livelihood or medical benefits under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, and if the applicant or a household member falls under one of the following categories: elderly, infants, disabled, pregnant women, patients with severe, rare, or intractable diseases, single-parent families, or children from juvenile-headed households, they can apply.

The amount provided varies by household size: 103,500 KRW for a single-person household, 146,500 KRW for two-person households, 184,500 KRW for three-person households, and 209,500 KRW for households of four or more.

Residents wishing to receive the Energy Voucher can apply at the administrative welfare center of their registered address's eup or myeon.

The voucher can be used from July 1st until April 30th of the following year.

The summer usage period is from July 1st to September 30th, during which the electricity bill amount will be deducted from the electricity bill issued within this period.

The winter period is from October 12th to April 30th of the following year, during which users can choose between deductions on electricity or city gas bills or support for purchasing kerosene, LPG, or briquettes.

A county official stated, "We will do our best to promote so that all eligible households apply and receive support without omission."
