Mobile Driver's License Now Accepted for KB Kookmin Bank Services

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 24th that it will implement a mobile driver's license service.

The mobile driver's license is a digital ID that can be issued and stored on an individual's smartphone through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's mobile ID app. Customers visiting branches can conduct banking transactions by using the mobile driver's license for digital counter QR authentication.

KB Kookmin Bank will apply the mobile driver's license service to all banking operations provided at branch counters, including deposit services such as opening and closing accounts, loan services such as principal and interest repayments, and foreign exchange services such as currency exchange and overseas remittances.

A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "To enhance customer convenience when visiting branches, we have decided to apply the mobile driver's license to all counter services," adding, "We will continue to discover innovative financial services to provide differentiated customer experiences."
