Raemian, Ranked 1st in Apartment Category of National Brand Competitiveness Index for 19 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Taemin] Samsung C&T Corporation ranked first in the apartment category of the 2022 National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI). With this, Samsung C&T's 'Raemian' has secured the number one spot in the apartment category of the NBCI for 19 consecutive years.

The National Brand Competitiveness Index, first surveyed in 2003, is an index that measures brand awareness, image, and purchase intention formed through a company's marketing activities. It is calculated on a 100-point scale by applying weights to consumer evaluation scores on brand awareness and brand image. This year, Samsung C&T's 'Raemian' scored 75 points, achieving first place for the 19th consecutive year.

The survey conducted in the first half of this year covered 118 brands across 37 industries. Only four brands, including Samsung C&T's 'Raemian', LG Whisen (air conditioners), Samsung (notebooks), and Avante (compact cars), maintained the number one position for 19 consecutive years.

A Samsung C&T representative stated, “Samsung C&T has established itself as a leading company in housing market branding based on Raemian's high quality and residential satisfaction. Having been recognized by consumers with 19 consecutive years at the top of the National Brand Competitiveness Index, we will continue to develop products and ensure diligent construction to enhance consumer satisfaction.”
