Jungjingong and Ajin Industry Sign Win-Win Agreement to Practice ESG Management

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 24th that it signed a win-win cooperation agreement for practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management with Ajin Industrial (CEO Seo Jung-ho), a local mid-sized company in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, and the Ajin Industrial Partners Council (Chairman Lee Jong-seok).

With the signing of the agreement, SBC and Ajin Industrial agreed to establish a 'private-public win-win cooperation system' among SBC, mid-sized, and small businesses, and to actively cooperate to expand ESG management and achieve mutual growth for small and medium ventures. Specifically, SBC will provide tailored support in stages such as carbon neutrality level diagnosis, innovation vouchers, and policy funds to Ajin Industrial’s partners to help build an ESG management foundation. Ajin Industrial plans to support the competitiveness of its partners by providing training to improve production quality and safety consulting.

Additionally, both parties agreed to collaborate on supporting the Win-Win Cooperation Type Tomorrow Filling Deduction to encourage long-term retention of key personnel employed by excellent partner companies and the influx of young talent. Through this, it is expected to contribute to stable job creation and revitalization of the local economy.

Chairman Kim Hak-do stated, "The advanced materials and parts processing sector for future vehicles is one of the four major industries in the Gyeongbuk region, and close cooperation between the private and public sectors is necessary to respond to industrial structure transformation and secure competitiveness." He added, "We will strive to make this win-win cooperation agreement among SBC, local mid-sized companies, and partners a catalyst for spreading ESG management awareness and realizing sustainable management."
