Nationwide First to Collect and Provide All Youth Policies from Seoul City and Central Government, Receiving High Praise
553% Increase Compared to January... Ranked 3rd in Visitor Numbers Among 134 Seoul City Operated Websites
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul's comprehensive youth policy platform, Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong, announced on the 24th that the average daily number of visitors surpassed 30,000 just one month after its opening.
Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong is a comprehensive youth policy platform launched by the Seoul Metropolitan Government on April 14 to improve youth access to policies. Not only can users search for youth policies tailored to their needs, but they can also apply for, register, and process support such as youth public transportation subsidies, Seoul Young Tech, and youth allowances, making it actively used by Seoul's youth.
Before the opening of Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong, the average daily number of visitors in January this year was about 4,740, but it increased by approximately 553% within one month of opening. Compared to last year, the number of visitors also increased significantly. While the average daily visitors last year were 7,800, the average daily visitors in April, when Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong opened, reached 21,037 (about 170% increase), and surpassed 30,000 within one month of opening.
As a result, it ranked third in visitor numbers among 134 websites operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. This is a rise of nine places compared to the previous website, Seoul Youth Portal, which ranked 12th in 2021, making it the highest-ranked website in the policy sector.
The number of members who set 'user interest information,' which serves as basic data to proactively deliver customized information so that no youth misses policies due to lack of awareness or timing, exceeded 50,000 within one month. Based on interests set in employment, housing, education, and other areas, Seoul plans to send customized policy information via text messages according to individual interests to encourage applications. Additionally, an event to encourage setting interest information will be held in June to help more youth receive policy information in a timely manner.
Kim Cheol-hee, head of the Seoul Future Youth Planning Team, said, "The high response to Cheongnyeon Mongttang Jeongbotong confirmed the strong desire among youth to obtain customized policy information," adding, "We will continue to benchmark private platforms and develop it into an AI one-stop platform where 'policy shopping' is possible."
