A woman in her 20s was stabbed to death with a weapon in a villa in Incheon, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station announced on the 23rd that they have urgently detained and are investigating a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of murder.

Mr. A is accused of stabbing and killing a woman in her 20s, Ms. B, with a weapon at a villa in Namdong-gu, Incheon, around 6 p.m. that day.

The police, who responded to a 112 emergency call stating "an acquaintance asked me to report this," found Ms. B stabbed with a weapon at the scene. Severely injured, Ms. B was transported to a nearby hospital but died while receiving treatment.

Mr. A, who was also at the scene, sustained minor injuries to his arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant after investigating the specific motive and circumstances of the crime with Mr. A.
