Operation of Village Club Development Training Program Starting from the 26th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Junho] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting participants for the ‘Bbokjjak Bbokjjak Nolliteo’ on a first-come, first-served basis.
‘Bbokjjak Bbokjjak Nolliteo’ is a village club development education program as part of the Pureungaemi Village Saetteul Project.
Based on the village community, it voluntarily discovers resources and resident organizations within the village to support the formation and activities of clubs. It operates through education in various fields such as art, woodworking, cooking, sewing, and crafts.
With participation from young entrepreneurs and professional instructors in the village, it is expected to become a place of communication that discovers residents’ hidden talents, allows them to freely express themselves, and creates a vibrant village community.
The education schedule will be held from the 26th over a total of 10 sessions every Thursday and Friday at the Pureungaemi Village Saetteul Project Field Support Center, and participation is free of charge.
Residents who wish to participate can download the application form from the Dong-gu website and submit it via email or phone. For more details, please contact the Pureungaemi Village Saetteul Project Field Support Center.
A Dong-gu official said, “Through this education, we will actively support many Dong-gu residents, including residents of Gyelim-dong Pureungaemi Village, to grow as leaders of the Saetteul Project.”
Meanwhile, the Pureungaemi Village Saetteul Project is a project investing a total budget of 4.75 billion KRW aimed at sustainable village development. By 2024, it will promote improvements in living conditions and residential environments in vulnerable areas within the project target area, including support for repairing old houses and expansion of basic living infrastructure.
