Yeonggwang-gun Holds Job-Related Agencies Meeting

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 23rd that it held a meeting on the 20th with related job agencies to discover job projects suited to the local characteristics, share information, and establish an employment support system in Yeonggwang-gun.

The meeting was attended by 17 people, including practical officers and agency officials from the county Job Support Center and seven other employment support-related organizations.

They also shared information on the employment market changes due to COVID-19 and discussed ways to build a network through mutual cooperation among job-related agencies.

In particular, regarding the county's military catch-up job linkage support project, they prepared measures to discover and activate job seekers and employers, increase employment retention of job seekers, and sought operational plans for mutual communication such as joint promotion and sharing project progress.

A county official said, "We expect to enhance effective employment support services through strengthened cooperation among local job-related agencies based on this meeting."

Meanwhile, the county operates the Yeonggwang-gun Job Support Center to support residents' employment and offers various programs.
