Former President Moon Jae-in and his wife, attending their first official event since leaving office, along with politicians from both ruling and opposition parties, appeared one after another.
Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Lee Jin-bok, People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, co-chairpersons of the emergency committee Yoon Ho-jung and Park Ji-hyun, floor leader Park Hong-geun, Gyeonggi Province Governor candidate Kim Dong-yeon, General Election Committee Chairman Lee Jae-myung, and former Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon visited Bongha Village.
The late President Roh's burial site was crowded not only with political figures but also with citizens gathered from all over the country to honor his spirit.
The memorial service, which will begin at 2 p.m. that day, will be held under the theme "I am the awake river," featuring memorial speeches, tribute performances, and choral singing of memorial songs.
