Genians Surpasses 100 Cumulative Customers for Cloud NAC

Pure Private Sector Customer Performance... Expansion to Large Enterprises
Complete Public Market Entry with Certification and Procurement Registration
Stable Revenue Expected through Subscription-Based Business Establishment

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Integrated security platform company Genieons announced on the 20th that it has surpassed 100 cumulative customers for its cloud NAC consisting solely of private companies.

It has also completed security certification and procurement registration for entry into the public market. It is expected to record remarkable growth in the second half of this year. Genieons' cloud NAC was launched targeting SMBs. Recently, large corporations have also been seeking it.

While domestic headquarters adopted an on-premise model, large corporations introduced cloud NAC for their overseas branches due to ease of service and management, securing various customer references that built both headquarters and overseas branches with cloud NAC.

The demand from companies that are required to obtain ISMS-P certification, such as fintech, blockchain, and unicorn companies, has increased. ISMS-P is a government system that certifies whether the information protection and personal information protection management system established, managed, and operated by companies or institutions to prevent leakage and damage of major information assets and personal information is appropriate.

Genieons' cloud NAC can respond to detailed certification items of ISMS-P such as outsider security, information asset classification, physical security, access control, and operational security. Companies with ISMS-P certification can expand their scope to include a leading image of information protection systems, sustainable management, and even ESG.

Genieons is focusing all efforts on expanding the public market based on its successful settlement in the private corporate market. It is the first in the domestic security industry to acquire Cloud Service Security Certification (CASP). CASP is a system that objectively and fairly evaluates and certifies the security level of products and services so that public institutions can safely use private clouds.

Han Hyung-kwon, Director of Genieons Cloud Business Division, said, "Genieons' cloud NAC was first introduced and verified in overseas markets before launching in the Korean market," and added, "It is suitable for companies or institutions that are interested in security but have not used it due to initial investment costs and management issues, as it uses a subscription model where you pay only for what you use."
