[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Junho] Gwangju Nambu Police Station (Chief Yang Woocheon) announced on the 19th that it held a meeting with the Nam-gu Federation of the Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps.


This meeting was organized ahead of the enforcement of the 'Act on the Installation and Operation of Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps' to explore cooperation plans for community-based security services closely connected with residents, who are local security partners, and to promote community policing.


In particular, the meeting strengthened the cooperative relationship by listening to the suggestions of the Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps for enhancing security capabilities and sharing details of crime prevention activities.


A police official stated, “We will continue to explore cooperation plans for community-based security services with the Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps and do our best to ensure the safety of residents.”
