Jugumgong "We Support Financially Vulnerable Groups with Remote Policy Mortgage Assistance"

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Housing Finance Corporation will launch a 'Remote Application Support Service' on the 18th for seniors aged 60 and over and people with hearing impairments.

By using the service, users can receive remote assistance with the online application process for policy mortgages. KHFC provides real-time support via phone or messenger consultations. The service targets seniors aged 60 and over who are not familiar with online loan applications and people with hearing impairments who find it difficult to use call center consultations. However, only applications for the Home Purchase Loan (Bogeumjari Loan) and Didimdol Loan submitted through the corporation’s website and application (app) are eligible.

The service operates by reservation. Users can select their preferred service date within one month from the application date. They simply need to enter the access number received from the corporation on the access page.

President Choi Jun-woo stated, “The Remote Application Support Service is designed to help financial consumers who face difficulties due to the acceleration of digital transformation to use policy mortgages more conveniently,” adding, “We will closely monitor application trends and any inconveniences to gradually expand the support target.”
