Lotte Mulsan Wins Main Prize at iF Design Award 2022

Lotte Mulsan Wins Main Prize at iF Design Award 2022 Lotte Corporation's 2021 Korea's Largest Chuseok Holiday Banner.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Property & Development announced on the 18th that it won the main prize in the communication category advertising campaign at the 'iF Design Award 2022' for the Lotte World Tower Chuseok VM streetlight banner. The iF Design Award is considered one of the world's top three design awards, along with the Red Dot Design Award and IDEA.

The '2021 Korea's Largest Holiday Chuseok Banner' awarded to Lotte Property & Development was created in collaboration with Kang Byung-in, a leading Korean calligrapher famous for the drama Misaeng. The banner was highly praised for its modern reinterpretation of traditional Korean beauty, expressing the unique and modern elegance of Lotte World Tower. Measuring 0.6m in width and 1.25m in height, the banner conveyed a message wishing for abundance and health for all during last year's Chuseok, incorporating folk paintings to enhance the value of Korean tradition and culture.

The Lotte World Tower & Mall streetlight banners are installed on a total of 40 streetlights along the north, south, and west pedestrian paths within the complex. They are planned and operated annually with designs reflecting the characteristics of each season, such as Independence Movement Day, Liberation Day, Chuseok, and New Year.

A representative from Lotte Property & Development said, “We are grateful to have been awarded at the iF Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards. We will continue to showcase designs unique to Lotte World Tower, Korea's representative landmark, and deliver new experiences and enjoyment to our customers in the future.”
