National Hanwoo Association Holds Hanwoo Discount Event at Cheonggye Plaza: "Up to 50% Off"

[Asia Economy, Reporter Song Seungyoon] The National Hanwoo Association announced on the 17th that it will hold the "2022 Family Month Thank You Hanwoo" direct transaction Hanwoo discount sales event in celebration of Family Month.

This event, utilizing the Hanwoo self-help fund, will take place for three days from May 19 to 21 in front of the Sora Tower at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul, operating daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For Grade 1 Hanwoo, the prices per 100g are as follows: sirloin at 7,900 KRW, tenderloin at 11,800 KRW, striploin at 8,800 KRW, bulgogi at 2,900 KRW, and brisket at 4,900 KRW. Hanwoo of 2-plus grade will also be available.

For on-site customers, there will be various events such as receipt submission, Hanwoo lottery, and social networking service (SNS) certification events, with prizes including Hanwoo gift sets, Hanwoo meal kits, Hanwoo bone soup, and Lotteria Hanwoo bulgogi set vouchers. A commemorative ceremony for Hanwoo sharing, supporting undernourished and food-insecure groups, is also planned.
