[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Air Seoul announced on the 17th that it will resume flights on the Philippines Boracay (Kalibo) route starting in June.
This is the first direct flight between Korea and Boracay in over two years. Air Seoul will begin operating four times a week starting from July 17.
To celebrate the resumption of the Boracay route, Air Seoul is holding a special airfare event from today. One-way tickets from Incheon to Boracay, including fuel surcharges and airport taxes, start at 157,600 KRW. The travel period is until August 30.
Additionally, through a partnership with the Boracay travel information cafe ‘Bojamussa,’ various benefits will be offered to passengers. Air Seoul passengers can receive up to a 20% discount at local partner resorts. Pickup and sending services between Kalibo Airport and Boracay are also available at a 30% discount.
Moreover, passengers can enjoy various free services and discounts on local activities such as hopping tours, sunset tours, marine activities, and massages. Detailed information can be found on the Air Seoul website.
An Air Seoul official stated, “Due to many requests from those who have been waiting for direct flights, we have resumed the Boracay route after two years,” and added, “We hope you fully enjoy the Boracay Island, which has been regenerated even more beautifully over the past two years.”
