‘National Open Idea Discovery Contest’... Applications Accepted Until the 3rd of Next Month

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Junho] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 16th that it will hold the '2022 First Half Nationwide Open Idea Discovery Contest' until the 3rd of next month.

This contest was prepared to discover innovative ideas and practical policies for enhancing the happiness of district residents and to implement an administration based on communication and empathy.

The contest themes are ▲ Ways to create an active urban environment to continue Korea's top healthy city ▲ Proposals for alley regeneration ideas to discover the value of alleys unique to Dong-gu, totaling two topics.

Based on the experience of winning the Korea Healthy City Award for four consecutive years and the Grand Prize for excellent cases supporting alley economy recovery hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, it reflects Dong-gu's determination to proactively promote policies for enhancing residents' happiness.

Any citizen who wishes to participate in the idea contest can apply through the National Sinmungo website, email, mail, fax, or by visiting in person.

Among the adopted proposals, after evaluation, excellent proposers will be awarded prizes and certificates: Gold Prize 500,000 KRW, Silver Prize 300,000 KRW, Bronze Prize 200,000 KRW, and Encouragement Prize 100,000 KRW.
