[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] On the 16th, President Yoon Seok-yeol is expected to focus on the message of "bipartisan cooperation" during the National Assembly's 'Supplementary Budget Address.'

The spokesperson's office stated in a press release on the 15th, "The main keywords in the address will be 'bipartisan cooperation with the National Assembly to overcome the crisis' and 'overcoming the crisis through cooperation.'" This is interpreted as an intention to emphasize the value of cooperation in governance during the early term to overcome deepening social conflicts and to break through the opposition-majority parliamentary landscape. Although it was ultimately canceled, the attempt to hold a dinner meeting with the leadership of the three major parties on the day of the address is also seen in the same context. This message can also be interpreted as a response to criticism that, while the value of 'freedom' was highlighted in the inauguration speech on the 10th, the keyword 'unity' was completely absent.

Earlier, on the morning of the 11th, President Yoon said on his way to work, "Some people pointed out that the inauguration speech yesterday lacked mention of unity, but (unity) is so obvious..." and added, "Unity is the process of national integration itself through our political process."
