Along with this, he also presented the policy goal of "Providing quality jobs to youth, revitalizing Jeonnam."
The plan aims to create good jobs where young people can work with peace of mind and realize the "Great Leap Forward, Jeonnam Happiness Era," where Jeonnam becomes a new growth axis of South Korea and soars toward the world.
The main youth policy pledges include ▲establishment of Jeonnam Youth Culture Center ▲creation and operation of Honam Youth Political Academy ▲promotion of youth settlement support projects ▲support for revitalizing agricultural and fishing village study-abroad programs ▲and fostering 2030 young farmers.
At the Jeonnam Youth Culture Center, platforms for youth communication freely used by youth in each Jeonnam hub, startup platforms to support youth entrepreneurship, and youth art creation studios will be established together to build a one-stop service base where youth can communicate with each other and strengthen their capabilities.
The "Honam Youth Political Academy" will also be newly established to realize Honam politics, laying the foundation for Jeonnam youth to leap forward and achieve toward Jeonnam's next 100 years.
Additionally, a special committee centered on university students and youth in Jeonnam will be formed to listen to field difficulties and provide opportunities to seek solutions.
In particular, to overcome the problem of local extinction and provide good jobs for Jeonnam youth, plans include actively attracting ultra-high-power laser research facilities linked with Korea Energy University, creating a space launch vehicle industry cluster, and data centers.
Along with building the "Jeonnam-Gwangju Super Metropolitan Economic Community," a next-generation semiconductor specialized complex will be created in areas such as Jangseong (1,000,000㎡, 3 million pyeong) to massively create quality jobs for Jeonnam youth.
Candidate Kim said, "The term 'N-po generation' has emerged because young people are losing hope and courage and cannot find a direction," adding, "I will make Jeonnam a happy place where youth can live stably and work enthusiastically."
Meanwhile, on the 14th, Kim held a "Youth 100-person roundtable" under the theme "Youth Speak about Jeonnam's Future" at the campaign office set up in Suncheon, with about 100 university students and youth from Jeonnam attending to communicate about youth policies in Jeonnam.
