'Anyang·Siheung·Gwangju→Seoul' Becomes More Convenient... New Express Metropolitan Bus Line Established

Residents of Anyang, Siheung, and Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province will have significantly improved access to Seoul.

On the 15th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Metropolitan Area Wide-area Transportation Committee announced, "Starting from the 16th, the semi-public operation of general wide-area buses (direct seat buses) on routes 6502 in Siheung and 3302 in Gwangju, as well as the M-bus (express wide-area bus) route M5556 in Anyang, will commence."

With the establishment of these new routes, it is expected that the severe congestion on Gyeonggi wide-area bus routes from the Siheung area to Seoul will be alleviated. In Gwangju and Anyang, the inconvenience of having to transfer multiple times to enter Seoul is expected to be resolved.

Additionally, by shortening intervals between buses and minimizing stops, commuting conditions for public transportation to and from Seoul will improve. Concentrated dispatch of demand-responsive buses during peak hours and the installation of various convenience facilities inside vehicles are also expected to contribute to enhancing satisfaction with wide-area transportation services.
