Seven Eleven Launches Maesil Duruchigi Lunchbox... "The Most Perfect Meal" Plum Duruchigi Lunchbox sold at 7-Eleven.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Seven Eleven announced on the 13th that it will launch the first upgraded version product of its own lunchbox brand Hankki Research Institute, the ‘Maesil Duruchigi Lunchbox.’


The Maesil Duruchigi Lunchbox was developed as a single meal product targeting consumers who want to maintain their health even with convenience store meals.


It features Maesil Duruchigi, the most popular dish among Koreans, as the main dish, accompanied by soybean paste soup made with gelatin and multigrain rice. The pork is marinated in maesil extract for 12 hours to ensure tender meat and remove any unpleasant odor, and it also includes Omijeon, Hobakjeon, and Dubujeon to enjoy together.


A Seven Eleven official said, “This product is the first lunchbox to include a soup menu using gelatin, aiming to enhance consumer convenience as well as satisfaction upon purchase,” adding, “We will continue to develop various new products that meet consumer needs.”
