LifeSemantics and Government Employees Pension Service Sign Agreement to Provide Community Medical Services and Health Information

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Life Semantics announced on the 12th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government Employees Pension Service for community development and enhancement of social value.

Through this agreement, both organizations plan to continue various collaborations such as providing medical services and volunteer activities for vulnerable groups in the community, and offering information to support healthy retirement lives for pension recipients.

The Government Employees Pension Service will be responsible for overall management of volunteer activities and education operations, including recruiting volunteers and education participants, and coordinating with related organizations within the region. Life Semantics will support education and operation of the non-face-to-face medical platform, remote customer consultations, and connecting with specialized medical professionals offering pure talent sharing. Both parties plan to expand these services nationwide, starting with the Gyeongin region.

Lee Seunghak, head of the Gyeongin branch of the Government Employees Pension Service, said, “Since COVID-19, vulnerable groups in the community still face many difficulties in accessing medical care,” adding, “We will spare no effort in providing manpower and administrative support so that those in medical blind spots can conveniently receive medical services through non-face-to-face medical services.”

Ahn Sihoon, Chief Business Officer of Life Semantics, stated, “Through the pandemic, non-face-to-face medical care has already become one of the services closely integrated into our daily lives,” and added, “As we are building the largest non-face-to-face medical infrastructure in the country, we will actively lead social contribution activities for the health of local residents.”
