On the 11th, the Cultural Heritage Administration announced that it has established the "Basic Plan for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage Education," to be implemented by 2026. The core tasks are creating a foundation for sustainable education policies, enhancing customized education for users, and building various collaborative education systems. Under the goal of "Cultural heritage education enjoyed by the public in everyday life," various detailed tasks will be put into action. These include designating Cultural Heritage Education Support Centers, expanding the certification system for cultural heritage education programs, developing cultural heritage textbooks for the high school credit system, operating Cultural Heritage Education Week, developing cultural heritage education content using virtual spaces, and establishing a lifelong learning portal for cultural heritage. According to the basic plan, there is also a plan to enact the Cultural Heritage Education Support Act by 2026. A Cultural Heritage Administration official stated, "We will systematize cultural heritage education to ensure that more people benefit from it."
