[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Park Ji-hyun, Emergency Response Committee Chair of the Democratic Party of Korea, congratulated President Yoon Suk-yeol on his inauguration on the 10th and urged appointments that align with public common sense, fulfillment of campaign promises, and national unity.


On the same day, Chair Park conveyed through social media (SNS), "I congratulate President Yoon on his inauguration and would like to share some wishes of the people," while making her requests.


She said, "Above all, please make our country the fairest in the world," and added, "I hope you will boldly give up on figures who do not meet the people's expectations in terms of fairness and common sense."


She continued, "Please end the confrontations and conflicts that have caused despair among the people and open a new era of harmony and unity," and said, "I ask the President to lead inclusive politics for the people."


She also urged the fulfillment of campaign promises. Chair Park stated, "There should be no cases where the promises made to the people, including full compensation for small business losses and salary increases for soldiers, are broken."


Chair Park warned, "Beware of unilateral rule and arrogance," and said, "If the President abandons unilateral rule and arrogance and leads the government according to harmony, unity, fairness, and common sense, the Democratic Party of Korea will be a strong partner of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration."
